Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our production department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Machine Area Specialist C/A role, which is based in Lakeside, Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will report directly to the Maintenance Controller C/A in Lakeside, Port Elizabeth. Key Purpose: To maintain, repair and optimize plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Contribute to self and team development.
• Plan budget and prepare the job in a systematic and effective manner.
• Must be able to work under the pressures of a production environment.
• Self-starter.
• Must have an appreciation for quality and technical standards.
• Must be able to liaise with Machine Suppliers and Technical Support from COF.
• Must be able to carry out electrical maintenance work.
• Must have 'trouble shooting' skills.

• N4 with Trade Test (Electrical) / N6 National Diploma Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• PC literacy essential - Microsoft packages.
• Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
• At least 3 years in C&A or instrumentation as well as coding and inspection equipment.
• Specialised knowledge of Instrument and Control calibrations, configurations, maintenance, fault finding, installation standards, documentation standards and instrumentation protocols.
• Basic understanding of and experience with Wonderware Archestra and Intouch based SCADA systems
• Experience in problem solving methodology
• In-depth knowledge of PLCs hardware and software and industrial networking
• Good manufacturing and process understanding
