Job Summary
Responsible for identifying and executing on continuous improvement opportunities, reporting and updating the knowledge management system.

Job Description

Responsible for identifying and executing on continuous improvement opportunities, reporting and updating the knowledge management system. Engaging with internal business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure objectives, priorities and key requirements are agreed and understood. Interpreting data and identify issues, risks and opportunities and relate results and insights to Business users. Ensuring compliance to policies, legislation and regulations.

Job description:

• Collaborate with various functional leads and teams to collate requirements in developing reporting outputs.
• Develop customized reports and dashboards
• Build, maintain and repair reports within software applications
• Provide data / reporting solutions to colleagues through the report writing capability
• Conduct proper testing of reports and dashboard before deploying into production
• Work closely with the security functional leads to adhere to data eligibility rules and data privacy requirements
• Present data, reports and dashboards to colleagues in other functional and business areas
• Analyze statistics and other metrics in addition to providing end-user training on report writing
• Actively contribute to the working and planning of the DPX report writing capability.

Required skills / Experience:
  • Ability to work with databases, spreadsheets and reporting software
  • Report writing certification / training completed
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office
  • Agile in ways of working
  • Analysis skills
  • Structured problem solving techniques
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive and work in a team environment
(Advantageous):
  • Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Oracle, Hyperion, Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Workday / ServiceNow report writing competence / experience
  • Scrum

Required Education:
  • Grade 12
  • Associated Bachelor’s degree or a
  • Bachelor’s degree in a in a Computer related

Education

  • Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
