Position: G.E.T Assistant
Location
Middleburg Rock Tools, South Africa
The Role
Execute
and / or assist operators in simple tasks on the production line. Feeds
production machines collect leftover materials and tools, transports
materials and parts.
Key Performance Areas
- Under general direction, responsible for support the machine operator doing some simple tasks on the production line.
- Feeds production machines with the proper raw material following the instructions, receiving and/or taking the components in the warehouse and bringing to the machine operators.
- Doing the unloading of the machine per the instruction of the machine operators.
- Collects leftover materials and tools in the area to keep the area clean.
- Safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements

Profile Required
- Matric
- Competency in all tasks relating to GET maintenance
- Computer literacy
- Intermediate MS Excel skill
- Certificate of Competence in GET maintenance
- English proficiency
- Valid driver’s license
- Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment
- Al least 5 years’ experience in maintenance and mining environment.
- Entrepreneurial business experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
