Position: GET Site Manager
Location
Wolvekrans, South Africa
The Role
Responsible
for the overall operative and strategic work within the maintenance
operations for the production units. Develop the central and operation
near maintenance business.
Key Performance Areas
- Responsible for meeting the needs of the business regarding resources and develop the operation.
- Developing vision and converts to implementing strategies.
- Responsible to operate the business continuous improvements within Performance Management.
- Support the development of investment plans.
- Leads the business at an overall level and delegates mandate with responsibility to the organization.
- Responsible for the development of a yearly budget, ongoing expense tracking and cost savings initiatives.
- Responsible for the competence development and staffing within the department.
- Ensure compliance with all employment, health and safety laws.
- You are responsible for your own development by following Sandvik's leadership model.

Profile Required
- Matric
- Competency in all tasks relating to GET maintenance
- Computer literacy
- Intermediate MS Excel skill
- Certificate of Competence in GET maintenance
- English proficiency
- Valid drivers license
- Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment
- Al least 5 years experience in maintenance and mining environment.
- Entrepreneurial business experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
